Finding qualified, trustworthy, compassionate Caregivers is our specialty and we have trained staff that specialize in nothing but finding outstanding Caregivers for our Clients! We excel in finding the right person to fulfill the requirements of any Client. Our seventeen-step screening system is thorough, extensive and exceeds industry standards. On average we hire just 10% of the applicants through our exclusive process, which includes such steps as:
• Initial telephone interview to check qualifications and compatibility with this profession.
• Appointments for interviews, no drop-in applicants.
• In person interview with a specially trained HR representative.
• Evaluation of practical skills, literacy, integrity and personality.
• Comprehensive assessment of at least four references (professional and personal) including phone interviews.
• Criminal record check, nurse aide registry check and employee misconduct checks.
• Proof of training certifications, driver's license, insurance, and work eligibility.
• Medical screening which consists of at least a TB test.
• Comprehensive orientation to the State's and company’s policies and procedures.
• Routine telephone follow-up and home visits to ensure continuing client satisfaction.

Case Supervision
- Free initial consultation and home visit conducted for each Client when the case begins to ascertain needs and make the best possible match.
- Cases are directly supervised through quarterly home visits and verbal communication on an ongoing basis.
Quality Control and Oversight
- State licensed agency enabling our Caregivers to perform personal care services like bathing and toileting.
- Actively lobby for higher screening standards to protect our Clients operating in compliance with the IRS, USCIS, DOL, and OSHA.
- Oversight from Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services and our corporate office to ensure that our offices meet or exceed Texas DADS and our stringent corporate requirements.
"Other" Agency Home Care Standards
- Rates are often double those paid to the Caregiver to pay for glossy brochures, expensive advertising, and fancy offices.
- Caregivers paid minimum wage or low salaries, forcing companies to accept candidates who cannot find work elsewhere.
- Interviews are often conducted on the phone or in a group setting.
- Caregivers are often hired on the spot and sent on cases from the interview while meeting minimal standards.
- One or two references are “contacted” usually consisting of verification of prior employment dates only.
- Criminal background checks are not conducted, unless required by the state.
- TB tests are not always required.
- Home visits are usually not conducted. Some companies do conduct home visits, but charge expensive, additional fees.
- Follow-up home visits are sporadic or non-existent.
- Agencies are often unlicensed and Clients must be able to handle their own personal care.
- Most non-medical companies are new to the industry and provide only companion care to avoid regulatory oversight.
- No state or corporate oversight occurs.
